Tips for OCR MEI A level Further Maths papers
- Only practise the options you are entered for: ask your teacher which route you are taking.
- Core pure is half the A level and the longest paper. Build up to full timed Core pure papers.
- You cannot take a major and a minor in the same area, such as Mechanics major and Mechanics minor, so your minor is always a different topic.
- Read the examiner reports for Core pure: proof by induction and complex numbers questions are where marks are most often lost.
