Free IGCSE Physics review

Send us a recent physics test, a past paper or the topics you find hardest on WhatsApp. In your free demo class we go through the questions where you lost marks, show you why, and give you a plan to your exams.

Your IGCSE papers

We follow your syllabus exactly. Checked against Cambridge and Pearson in October 2026.

Cambridge IGCSE Physics (0625)

  • Multiple choice Paper 1 (Core) or Paper 2 (Extended): 30%
  • Theory Paper 3 (Core) or Paper 4 (Extended): 50%
  • Practical Paper 5 practical test or Paper 6 alternative to practical: 20%

Paper 6 is a written paper about practical work. We practise it from the start.

Pearson Edexcel International GCSE Physics (4PH1)

  • Paper 1 2 hours, 110 marks
  • Paper 2P 1 hour 15 minutes, 70 marks, for the full Physics award

Practical skills are a fifth of the Cambridge marks, so we teach them alongside the theory.

How we plan your IGCSE

Adapted to your free review: we spend the time where your marks are.

  1. DiagnoseYour free demo: we look at a recent test or past paper and find where the marks went.
  2. Core skillsAlgebra and number in maths, units and equations in physics, until they are quick and reliable.
  3. Topic by topicThe syllabus in order, matched to what your school is teaching now.
  4. Exam techniqueReading the question, showing working, and the non-calculator and practical papers.
  5. Past papersTimed papers marked against the official mark scheme, with an error log of every lost mark.

Try two IGCSE Physics questions

Original questions at IGCSE standard. Give yourself two minutes each, then open the solution.

IGCSE Physics, motion

A car speeds up from 5 m/s to 25 m/s in 4 s. What is its acceleration?

  1. 4 m/s2
  2. 5 m/s2
  3. 6.25 m/s2
  4. 7.5 m/s2
Show the worked solution
  1. Acceleration = change in velocity ÷ time.
  2. a = (25 − 5) ÷ 4 = 5 m/s2.
  3. Answer: B. Option C divides the final speed by the time and forgets the starting speed.

IGCSE Physics, density

A block measures 2 cm by 3 cm by 5 cm and has a mass of 81 g. What is its density?

  1. 0.37 g/cm3
  2. 2.7 g/cm3
  3. 16.2 g/cm3
  4. 2430 g/cm3
Show the worked solution
  1. Volume = 2 × 3 × 5 = 30 cm3.
  2. Density = mass ÷ volume = 81 ÷ 30 = 2.7 g/cm3.
  3. Answer: B. Option A divides volume by mass, the wrong way round.
